The Cumberland Ale
Keswick MOUNTAIN Festival 2008
Wednesday 14th May to Sunday 18th May

The Wainwright Society and members were pleased to support the 2008 Cumberland Ale Keswick Mountain Festival.

During the week of the Festival, The Wainwright Society were raising funds in aid of Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team with a challenge called The North Western Ascent.

The challenge was based on the 95 routes of ascent shown in Alfred Wainwright’s Sixth Pictorial Guide, The North Western Fells.

In 2007 the Wainwright Society raised funds for Keswick Mountain Rescue Team.
