The Lake District Calvert Trust runs outdoor activities for hundreds of severely disabled people of all ages every year. Visitors can experience abseiling, paragliding, sailing, horse riding and exposure to the fells with expert support from specially trained instructors and purpose built facilities and equipment. The Society worked closely with them in 2012 when they also unveiled their modern hydrotherapy pool.
